The Aggregated Availability widget combines the availability of multiple instances into a single value. Choose from different aggregate functions, like Average, Min or Max throughout a specific time range.

Use case

The Aggregated Availability widget is useful when:

  • You want to display the aggregate availability percentage of multiple instances.


Average availability

This example shows the average availability percentage of multiple database instances. 


When creating or editing a widget, a drawer that shows the widget's configuration options slides out from the right. Each configurable option is described in the following table.

Field Description
Widget name
Name of the widget as it appears on the dashboard.

This field shows the default name of the widget. Select the pen icon to rename the widget. 
Filter instance by
Filter instances by the following:


  • No filter
  • Tags
  • Group
  • Name
The aggregated values will be collected from the selected instances.

The selected metric's aggregated value will be displayed on the widget.
Filter metrics
You can also use the filters to fine-tune your search results.

  • No filter
  • By tags
  • By option string

Aggregated data can be calculated based on the following values:


  • Average (Default)
  • Min
  • Max
  • Sum
Time Range
Shows the aggregated availability percentage of a group of instances based on the selected time range.

  • Last 24 hours
  • Last week
  • Last month
  • Last year
