Ping
Direct link to topic in this publication:

Ping checks are useful for understanding Layer 3 health and latency separate from your application. It's also the most basic of the uptime checks. In addition to latency, you can optionally monitor packet loss as well.

Control Panel Configuration

Select Ping from the monitoring catalog.

The configuration is pretty standard, with the only exception being the Ping Options tab, where you can dictate how much packet loss is allowed before its considered an incident.

If you have any questions, please reach out to Panopta Support.
