PostgreSQL network check
Direct link to topic in this publication:

Monitor your Postgres database server from multiple dimensions. Start with internal health/performance metrics using the Agent and then ensure Postgres client connections are succeeding using a network check from an OnSight vCollector or public monitoring probe.

Control Panel Configuration

To add the network check, select PostgreSQL from the monitoring catalog.

Select the port check option:

  • PostgreSQL Port

This check will monitor port 5432 (or whichever port you set to your PostgreSQL service to) to let you know if your PostgreSQL service is responsive.

If you have any questions, please reach out to Panopta Support.
