The Amazon Redshift integration allows you to monitor your Amazon Redshift service through Panopta.

To add the Amazon Redshift service to your Panopta account:

  1. Follow the instructions provided in Connecting Panopta and CloudWatch.
  2. Under Services, select Redshift.

The following table describes the metrics supported by Panopta for Redshift.

Percent
The percentage of CPU utilization.
Database Connections
CountThe number of database connections to a cluster.
Health Status
1/0 (HEALTHY/UNHEALTHY in the Amazon Redshift console)
Indicates the health of the cluster.
Maintenance Mode
1/0 (ON/OFF in the Amazon Redshift console)
Indicates whether the cluster is in maintenance mode.
Network Receive Throughput
Bytes/second
The rate at which the node or cluster receives data.
Network Transmit Throughput
Bytes/second
The rate at which the node or cluster writes data.
Percentage Disk Space Used
Percent
The percent of disk space used.
Read IOPS
Count/second
The average number of disk read operations per second.
Read Latency
Seconds
The average amount of time taken for disk read I/O operations.
Read Throughput
Bytes
The average number of bytes read from disk per second.
Write IOPS
Count/seconds
The average number of write operations per second.
Write Latency
Seconds
The average amount of time taken for disk write I/O operations.

The average number of bytes written to disk per second.
